The word massage comes from the Greek word meaning to knead and is one of the oldest treatments for human ailments known in the world.
While benefiting the skin and muscles, massage can also affect deep healing in the body bringing about relief from chronic and lighter conditions. Naturally it also deeply relaxing and soothing with many people choosing it as a treat and valuable use of me-time.
Seated Acupressure massage is based on the Traditional Chinese massage called Amna, which literally means push, pull, press or rub in Chinese. The routine is performed through the clients clothing being totally non-invasive.
The routine takes approximately 20 minutes and covers the back, neck, shoulders, arms and hands of the client. The treatment promotes a feeling of wellbeing, as muscles are relaxed, blood circulation is increased and nerve responses stimulated. The treatment is performed on a specially designed chair.
